William J. "Bill" Foust III, 53, passed away Thursday at UPMC Altoona after an extended illness.
Bill was born in Altoona, son of the late William J. and Evelyn (Miller) Foust Jr. On Aug. 31, 2002, he married Candida "Candi" Manna.
Surviving are his loving wife of 22 years; his children: Bradley Foust (Casidy) of Altoona, Ashten Foust, Colvin Foust, Kyler Foust and Briella Foust, all at home; two grandchildren, Ayvin and Isleigh; two sons, Nick and A.J. Perry; a sister, Pam Lucas (Dave) of Altoona; mother-in-law, Kathleen Moyer; and several nieces and nephews.
He was a 1988 graduate of Altoona Area High School.
He retired from IDA as a maintenance manager and previously was a custodian at Hollidaysburg Area School District. He was also previously employed by Ramada Inn.
Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing and fireworks, but most especially enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 10, 2025, at E. Merrill Smith Funeral Home Inc., 2309 Broad Ave., Altoona, where a visitation will immediately follow from 3 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.
