Robert W. "Bob" Engle, 57, of Bellwood, died unexpectedly at his home. He was born in Altoona, a son of the late Edward S. Jr. and Carole K. (Hollen) Engle.
Surviving are his children, Robert W. Jr. and Amber M. (Joshua Aiken) Engle; two grandsons, Braxton and Xaiver; two brothers, Timothy J. and Scott A. (Theresa); two sisters, Corinthia A. (Pat) Morningstar and Amy R. (Mac Foor) Abrams; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Winston; and siblings, Kristina K. Hockenberry and Edward S. III.
Bob was a 1987 graduate of Bellwood-Antis High School. He was employed as a shipping clerk at Mid-State Tool & Supply for more than 20 years.
Bob enjoyed football, especially college ball and the Dallas Cowboys. He also enjoyed playing poker and doing yard work. He was an extremely hard worker with great work ethics.
Bob's greatest joy was spending time with his grandsons.
Friends will be received from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, July 27, 2025, at Jon C. Russin Funeral Home Inc., Bellwood. A funeral service will be held at 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with Pastor John Poe officiating. Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park, Antis Township.
