Richard A. Friedenberger, 73, Altoona, died early Thursday morning at Hilltop Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Altoona.
He was born in Altoona, son of the late John and Mary Elizabeth (Mathew) Friedenberger.
Surviving are three children: Annie Anderson in Florida, Ricky Friedenberger of East Freedom and Rebecka Friedenberger of Butler; a sister, Linda A. Lebendig of Altoona, who was blessed to serve as Richard's caregiver for many years; two brothers, John Raymond Friedenberger of Altoona and Edward Thomas Friedenberger in Texas; and numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Richard was preceded in death by an infant sister, Linda Marie.
He was a 1971 graduate of Altoona Area High School. He retired as a delivery driver for Roxy Beverage following 20 years of service.
Richard was an avid NASCAR fan.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing or funeral service.
Arrangements are by Myers-Somers Funeral Home Inc., 501 Sixth Ave., Altoona.
