Philip R. Reigh

Philip R. Reigh, 77, of Bellwood, died early Monday morning at his home after an extended illness. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Kenneth L. and Alpheretta (Woodhall) Reigh.

On June 7, 1969, he married Evaline M. Beiswenger at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Altoona.

Philip is survived by his wife; four children: Janet M. Webster of Altoona, Michael P. (Tina) of Flinton, Theresa M. (Bryan) Martin of Altoona and Stephanie A. (AJ) Godfrey of Harleysville; six grandchildren: Daniel, Adam, Cobey, Jeri, Noah and Xavier; and several great-grandchildren.

He was a 1965 graduate of Bellwood-Antis High School and earned his associate's degree in electrical engineering at Penn State University.

Philip retired as an electronics engineer at Penn State and was owner of Reigh Communication and Phil Reigh Sound, Bellwood.

He was a former member of Mountain Lodge F&AM, Altoona Consistory and Jaffa Shrine.

Philip's life was the sound business and he also enjoyed playing the bass guitar.

Friends will be received from 2 to 6 p.m. Monday, July 14, 2025, at Jon C. Russin Funeral Home Inc., Bellwood, where a Masonic service will also be held. A funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with Pastor Don McCaulley officiating. Interment will be at Logan Valley Cemetery, Bellwood.

The family suggests that contributions in Phil's memory be made to Excelsior Fire Company No. 1 of Bellwood; or Bellwood-Antis Public Library.
