Kevin T. Cowan, 73, of Hollidaysburg, passed away Sunday morning at UPMC Altoona. He was born in Altoona, the son of the late Jack and Arlene (Boldt) Cowan.
On March 24, 1993, he married Rebecca M. Weaver in St. Croix, Virgin Islands.
Surviving are his wife of 32 years; a son, John, of Altoona; a grandson, Gaige Hallinan; a brother, Kelley Cowan (Janet) of Riggles Gap; a niece, Dawn McCartney (Chris); great-niece, Caitlyn; great-nephew, Alex; cousin, Lisa Myers (John); and dear relatives and friends, Jack and Cheryl Rawlings.
Kevin was a 1970 graduate of Altoona Area High School and a graduate of Saint Francis University. He retired from Norfolk Southern as a senior general foreman.
He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.
Kevin was active in the Hollidaysburg Lodge F&AM #220, American Wine Society, the Altoona Corvette Club and the Stoney Lonesome Rod & Gun Club. He enjoyed gardening and hunting.
Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 31, 2025, at Plank, Stitt & Stevens Funeral Home, 421 Montgomery St., Hollidaysburg; and from 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service Friday, Aug. 1, 2025, at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Calvary Cemetery.
