John N. Brubaker, 57, Duncansville, died unexpectedly on Friday. He was born in Altoona, son of Mary Ann (Hilton) and the late James L. Brubaker, who preceded him in death in 2023.
Surviving are his mother of Duncansville; four siblings: Catherine Harker (Joseph) of Duncansville, James of Altoona, William (Bobbie) of Alum Bank and Jeffrey of Duncansville; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and numerous cousins.
John was a 1987 graduate of Hollidaysburg Area Senior High School. He worked as a laborer for various construction companies in the area. He previously worked at Cross Keys Auction Center and Alto-Reste Park.
He enjoyed working outdoors, and in his younger days, he enjoyed riding motorcycles.
All services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Interment will take place at Carson Valley Cemetery.
