Gary K. Johnson, 62, of Hollidaysburg, passed away Monday, July 21, 2025. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Howard and Madalyn (Holland) Johnson.
Surviving is his partner of 21 years, Jamie Miller, of Hollidaysburg; a daughter, Lindsay Reffner and husband, Corey, of Claysburg; son, Troy and wife, Brooke, of Huntingdon; two grandchildren: Regan and Reed; a sister-in-law, Mabel "Kay" Clabaugh; and several nieces and nephews.
Gary graduated from Hollidaysburg High School in 1981 and graduated from Pronto's Beauty School.
He founded Shear Designs Hair & Nail Salon in 1998, where he still worked as a hairdresser.
Gary was active in numerous local churches.
He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, friends, and family. He supported local charitable organizations.
Friends will be received from noon to 3 p.m. Thursday, July 31, 2025, at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a memorial service will immediately follow at 3 p.m. with Pastor Tiffany Marvich officiating.
