William W. "Bill" Yaudes, 72, of Tyrone, passed away Monday after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer.
He was born in Philipsburg, the son of the late Harris W. and Margaret I. (Hostler) Yaudes.
Bill married Sue A. Campbell on Aug. 7, 1976, in Tyrone.
Bill is survived by his loving wife, Sue; a son, Aaron (Hannah) Yaudes; and a daughter, Kari (Dan) Hostler. He is also survived by three grandchildren: Owen, Ellie and Campbell; and a sister, Marlene (Sam) Potts.
Bill was a 1971 graduate of Tyrone Area High School and attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
He retired as vice president and regional market manager from Kish Bank. He was also a member of the Rotary Club.
Bill enjoyed golfing and was proud of his recent hole in one on April 16, 2024, at Sinking Valley Country Club. He liked watching the Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers and following PSU sports, especially Lady Lions basketball. The thing that Bill loved most of all though was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, whom he adored.
