Timothy Blair Nowlin, 72, of Warriors Mark, died Sunday at Mount Nittany Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was born in Altoona, a son of the late Edgar Blair and Clara Ella (Patterson) Nowlin.
On March 16, 1974, he married Vanessa D. Neff.
Surviving are his wife; their children: Tara Black (Michael) of Carlisle, Bradley Scott Nowlin (Heather) and Kirsten L. Snyder (Kenny) of Warriors Mark; grandchildren: Leah and Owen Black; Jordan, Carlie and Ryder Nowlin; and Dakota, Jordan, Gavin and Bailey Snyder.
Timothy was a member of Warriors Mark Methodist Church, a graduate of Tyrone High School in 1970 and attended Penn State University. He was a catcher on the Penn State baseball team.
He was also a member of Warriors Mark Fire Company and Fire Police, the Historical Society, the School Alumni Association, Huntingdon County Farm Bureau and a former member of the Tyrone Elks Lodge #212.
Timothy loved his grandchildren and watched their sporting events. He loved hunting rabbits and going to county fairs. He was always a Kansas City Chiefs fan and a regular of the breakfast crew at Jamie's.
He was a longtime dairy farmer at N & N Farms in Warriors Mark.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 12, 2025, at Warriors Mark Methodist Church, 1840 Centre Line Road, Warriors Mark; and from 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service Friday, June 13, 2025, at the church, with Pastor Aden Wertz officiating. A luncheon will follow the service.
