Shirley L. Williamson, 93, of Altoona, passed away Saturday afternoon at UPMC Altoona. Born in Altoona, she was the daughter of the late Harry R. and Gladys M. (Robinson) Clinger.
Shirley is survived by her son, Lane Williamson; grandson, Parish Foreman; great-grandchildren, Phoenix and Pheona; and sister, Sharon.
She was preceded in death by her siblings, Winifred Schultz and H. Robert Clinger.
A 1950 graduate of Altoona High School, Shirley retired in 1988 from Sylvania, where she worked in assembly.
She enjoyed trips to the beach, especially Atlantic City. Shirley loved music, dancing and watching high school sports. Most of all, she cherished spending time with her family and friends.
Shirley was a devoted member of St. John's Reformed Church in Hollidaysburg, as well as The Red Hat Society and Weight Watchers.
Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 19, 2025, at The Good Funeral Home Inc., 108 Alto-Reste Park, Altoona, where a funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 20, 2025. Private interment will be held at Alto-Reste Park, Altoona.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Central Pennsylvania Humane Society, 1837 E. Pleasant Valley Blvd., Altoona, PA 16602.
