Rick L. "JR" Dobson Jr., 45, of Altoona, passed away Thursday at Westmoreland Hospital. He was born in Altoona, a son of Barbara A. "Robin" (Bender) Dobson and the late Rick L. Dobson Sr.
Surviving are his mother of Altoona; a brother, Bradley S. Dobson (Rebecca) of Altoona, and their daughter, Scarlett; and numerous extended family and friends.
Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at Myers-Somers Funeral Home Inc., 501 Sixth Ave., Altoona, where a funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. with Pastor Jeremiah Baker officiating.
