Richard F. Prince, 84, Altoona, passed away Monday at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born in Clearfield, son of the late Thomas and Hazel (Rososky) Prince.
Surviving are his loving daughter, Jennifer Young, wife of David, Altoona; sister, Susan Good, Myrtle Beach; and granddaughters, Alexa Young and Ashleigh (Dylan) Greer.
Richard was a retired police officer with the Altoona Police Department and a life member of the FOP and NRA. He was also a member of the Heidelberg Country Club and Buccinese Society.
He enjoyed shooting, reading, traveling and watching Charlie Chan movies. Above all, he adored his beloved dogs, Oakley and Lilly.
A devoted father, grandfather, brother and friend, Richard will be deeply missed by all that knew him.
Honoring his request, there will be no visitation or services.
