Paul Harry Desch, 81, of Dickinson, Texas, and formerly of Bellwood, passed away peacefully June 17, 2025. He was the son of the late William and Pernina (Taneyhill) Desch.
Paul was also preceded in death by his brothers, John Cox and Rod Desch; and his grandson, Garrett Desch.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Gayle (Clapper); and his six children: Pete (Diane), Mike (Barb), Daren (Jackie), Kelly (Steve) Walker, Kari (Tim) Collier and Devon (Sharon). Paul was the proud grandfather of Heather, Garrett, Michael, Dani, Katie, Timmy, Eric, Shane, Karissa, Morgan, Brooke, Dylan, Levi and Colten; and was blessed with 24 great-grandchildren, plus one on the way.
Paul will fondly be remembered for his deep love of family and the time he spent with them. He shared his passion for race cars with his sons and cherished the many weekends spent at Hesston Motor Speedway with his family.
In 2009, Paul moved to Texas, where he enjoyed the warm weather and relaxed pace of life alongside his youngest son, Devon. He truly embraced his time there, often soaking in the sun while fishing and playing daily games of dominoes with his friend, Bogey. Paul enjoyed all sports, especially when his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were involved. He was also an avid fan of Penn State wrestling and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
In accordance with his wishes, no formal services will be held.
