Paris August DeSantes

May 6, 1939, he grew up in Gallitzin, and was the son of the late Lena (Joseph) and Paris DeSantes.

In addition to his parents, Paris was preceded in death by his loving sister, Janet Arseniu.

Paris is survived by his loving wife, Jo (Magargi), of 59 years, whom he married on Oct. 6, 1965, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He is also survived by his loving daughters: Stephanie and her husband, Joseph, Simone Romance and her husband, Robert, Nicole Parrish and her husband Michael, and Nichele DeSantes Smith and her husband, Ryan; his grandchildren: Trey, Tanner, Ty and Talon Romance, Isabella Parrish and Olivia, Maddox and Paris Smith; and a loving sister, Judith DeSantes.

Paris was an entrepreneur who owned and operated a successful commercial and residential cleaning service company. In addition to this, Paris was also a grocery business owner, blending the worlds of service and retail.

Paris loved his family with unwavering passion, finding immense joy in celebrating their achievements. Renowned as everyone’s favorite cook, he brought warmth and deliciousness to every family and holiday gathering. His absence will be felt deeply, but the legacy of his profound love and dedication to his family will live on in all of us.

A funeral Mass celebrating Paris’s life will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 6, 2025, at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church. Committal will be at Calvary Cemetery with military honors. All those who wish to join his family to celebrate his life are welcome to attend.
