Melissa Margaret "Missy" Eckenrode, 58, of Gallitzin, died Friday. Born Aug. 13, 1966, the daughter of James Osman and Barbara Moschgat, she is survived by her loving husband, Doug Eckenrode; children: Matthew (Bethany), Jessica, Jason (Charity) and Adam (Shayna). Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 16, 2025, at Gibbons Funeral Home, 301 Church St., Gallitzin. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at St. Demetrius Catholic Church, Gallitzin, by the Rev. Albert H. Ledoux. Interment at St. Mary's cemetery.
