Marian Ruth "Toots" Holsinger, 91, formerly of Altoona, went to be with the Lord on May 11, 2025, at her residence in North Port, Fla. She was born in Altoona, a daughter of the late Marian and Walter Muller.
On June 26, 1952, she married her loving and devoted husband, Robert E. Holsinger.
Surviving are her husband of 72 years; sons: Robert W. (Evelyn), Timothy (Lisa) and Joseph (Paula) of Altoona; brother, Ralph Muller of Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.; nieces, Kristine Starbuck of Jacksonville, Fla., and Kimberly Lujan (Ruben) of Sterling Va.; grandchildren: Kasey Porter "Jr.," Nicholas (Brandi) Holsinger, Kelley Holsinger, Janelle (Jason) Hafer, Justin, Timothy and Brittany Holsinger, Grace (Tyler) Majaha, Ashlyn (Luis) Cancel, Abby (Ryan) Hirko and Julie Holsinger; great-grandchildren: Braeden and Zachary Porter, Samatha, Jack and Max Holsinger, Madison Hafer, Cooper and Amelia Holsinger, Rio and Paz Cancel and Ronan and Winnie Hirko.
She was preceded in death by sister-in-law, Betty Muller of Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.
Marian was a 1952 graduate of Altoona High School.
She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church in Altoona and The North Port Community United Church of Christ of North Port, Fla., WELCA and The Eastern Star Delphi Chapter No. 65.
Marian was a longtime Sunday school teacher at St. James Church. She attended all of her sons' and grandkids' sporting events and enjoyed playing cards, bowling, traveling and camping at Woodland Park in Ebensburg.
A service will be held at noon Sunday, July 20, 2025, at St. James Lutheran Church, 1407 Eighth Ave., Altoona.
