Jeneane L. Messner, 73, formerly of Antis Township, passed away peacefully and was reunited with her beloved husband in Heaven on Monday evening, surrounded by her loving family at Garvey Manor, Hollidaysburg. She was born in Bellwood, a daughter of the late Roy A. and Lois M. (Colyer) Gingery.
On May 22, 1971, she married the love of her life, Roger L. Messner, in Winchester, Va. He preceded her in death on Jan. 21, 2019.
Jeneane is survived by her four children: Kimberly S. Whitcomb, Tina L. Messner, Roger L. Jr. (Susan) and Natalie A. (John) Neff; 11 grandchildren: Jenna, Jordyn, Jack, Jameson, Aaleah, Kelsey, Tommy, Jacey, Candyce, Freddy and Logan; nine great-grandchildren: Oliver, Parker, Nyle, Delaney, McKynlie, Pyper, Mikaila, Gauge and Tony; two sisters, Bonnie (Don) Park and Linda Green; and sister-in-law, Sue Gingery.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Lee Gingery on Jan. 9, 2025.
Jeneane was a 1970 graduate of Bellwood-Antis High School. She enjoyed shopping, cooking, sewing and watching cooking shows. She especially enjoyed sitting on her swing outside, family vacations and taking trips to Atlantic City with her husband.
Jeneane was a devoted wife, mother and Mema. Her greatest joy was providing a loving, caring and nurturing home for her family. She will be deeply missed.
A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of her family. Interment will be at Logan Valley Cemetery, Bellwood.
Arrangements are by Jon C. Russin Funeral Home Inc., Bellwood.
