Duayne Dillon, 61, of Tyrone, passed away Saturday. He was born in Tyrone, the son of Donald R. Dillon Sr., who survives, and the late Suzanne (Lewis) Dillon.
On June 28, 1986, in Virginia, he married Vicky (Simondale) Dillon, who survives.
Also surviving is a son, Caleb (Lexi) Dillon; three siblings: Donald Dillon Jr., Jane Dillon and Janice Decker.
Along with his mother, he was preceded in death by siblings: George Dillon, Robert Sims and Kina Sims Hole; and a nephew: Charles "Chuck" Sims.
Duayne was a 1982 graduate of Tyrone Area High School and served honorably in the United States Army.
He worked as an electrician before retiring from Chemcut in 2022.
Duayne was a member of the Tyrone Sportsman's Club, Howard Gardner American Legion Post 281 and the Blazing Arrow Hook and Ladder Fire Company.
He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, shooting and playing drums and guitar. He also loved spending time with his family.
A private memorial service for Duayne Dillon will be held at the convenience of the family.
