David M. Perretta, 72, born in Altoona, passed away June 18, 2025. He was the beloved son of the late Connie Perretta.
A 1975 graduate of Gannon University, he led a life for the love of his family. For 15 years, he co-owned and worked at United Beverage alongside his brother, Rick. He also worked as a welder for Conrail.
In his younger and middle years, Dave was an avid baseball player and remained active in the sport well into mid-life. Later, he found joy on the golf course, often enjoying a round with friends or family.
He had a special love for cooking, particularly Italian food, which he prepared with both pride and heart. He also had a knack for bargain shopping, always on the lookout for the best deals and sharing his finds with loved ones.
He left behind his wife, Brenda; and was the proud father of Tehia and Brendan. He is also survived by his brothers, Rick and Ron; his sister, Vikki; sisters-in-laws, Marilyn and Paula; brother in-law, Gary; a daughter-in-law, Jackie; along with five cherished grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He donated some of his organs to help others.
At the request of the deceased, no public services will be held. Arrangements are by Santella Funeral Home.
