Carl V. Moyer, 70, of Duncansville, passed away Friday at UPMC Altoona. He was born in Altoona, son of the late David Sr. and Velma (Leighty) Moyer. Surviving are a daughter, Michelle Moyer; siblings: William, James, Rita, Mark, Joan, George, Martha Reese, Barbara, Kenneth, Virginia Clapper, and Daniel; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul and David. Carl graduated from Central High School in 1973 and retired as a carman from Norfolk Southern. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and martial arts. All services are private at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg.
