Albert J. Beck, 85, of Loretto, died Thursday. He was born in Gallitzin, son of the late Felix and Alwilda (Edminston) Beck. Al was preceded in death by his wife, Helen; a daughter, Patsy Ellis; grandson, Bryan; and three siblings. He is survived by his children: Robin Lee and Rodney, Paula and Glenn Beck; numerous grandchildren; and brothers: Richard, Timothy and Mark Beck. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at Basilica of St. Michael the Archangel, Loretto. A private family viewing will be held prior to the Mass at Gibbons Funeral Home, 301 Church St., Gallitzin.
