Vernon Ray DeLong Jr., 74, of Altoona, died Friday afternoon, May 23, 2025, at Maybrook Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Altoona. He was born in Lewisburg, a son of the late Vernon R. and Margaret S. (Botto) DeLong.
Mr. DeLong was a 1968 graduate of Altoona Area High School.
He was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, South Congregation, Altoona.
Vernon had been previously employed in various industries located in Altoona.
A memorial service will be held at a future date and time at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, South Congregation, 805 S. 16th St., Altoona.
Interment will be made at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Altoona.
Arrangements are by Myers-Somers Funeral Home Inc., 501 Sixth Ave., Altoona.
