Terry Lee Feathers, a beloved father, grandfather, brother and friend, passed away peacefully on Sunday in Durham, N.C., at the age of 78. Born in Altoona, Terry was the cherished son of the late Evelyn Mae (Weir)
Feathers and John Earl Feathers.
Terry spent his formative years in Blair County, where he developed a lifelong passion for the great outdoors, particularly hunting. He also served his country in the United States Air Force.
His love for technology led him to a fulfilling career with AT&T, from which he retired after many years of dedicated service.
In his leisure time, Terry enjoyed building computers, watching movies and following sports, pursuits that brought him joy and relaxation.
On Oct. 26, 1968, Terry married the love of his life, Holley Anne Thomas, in Middlebury, Vt. Together they built a life filled with love and laughter until her passing.
Terry's legacy lives on through his devoted daughters, Jennifer Crickenberger and Lisa Prewitt; and his treasured grandchildren: Ethan Crickenberger, Hannah Prewitt and Roland Crickenberger. He is also survived by his loving sister, Linda Hall; and his dear aunt, Glenda Benton.
Terry will be remembered for his warm heart, quick wit, infectious laugh and unwavering dedication to his family. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
