Pastor Kenneth G. "Ken" Downs Sr., 73, of Martinsburg, passed away Monday. He was born in Beaver Valley, son of the late Charles R. and Sylvia M. (Gates) Downs. Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Sharon; sons, Kenneth II and Paul; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a sister, Ellen Ibberson; and seven brothers: Charles, Clair, John, Dave, Rick, Bob and Earl Downs. Pastor Ken was preceded in death by siblings, Nancy Lidwell and Gary. Friends will be received at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 29, 2025, at First Church of the Brethren, Roaring Spring.
