Linda Dilling Acker

Linda was a lifelong resident of the area and a graduate of Central High School, Martinsburg, Class of 1962.

She is survived by her six children: daughters, Natalie, Nellie Cowher (Denny), Amy Knisely (Don), Melinda Acker (Terry A. Thompson); and sons, Andrew and Christopher. Linda was the proud grandmother to nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her sister, Brenda Warner; and nephew, David Dilling.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, William Dilling; and her granddaughter, Rebecca Dicken.

She was a lover of books, an avid puzzle solver and enjoyed cooking. Her porch was a gathering place for friends and a site of many cherished conversations.

At Linda’s request, there will be no service. In her memory, contributions may be made to the Roaring Spring Library.
