Jo Lea Dennis, 70, of Altoona, passed away Monday. She was a daughter of the late Paul B. and Dora Mae
(Marlett) Luke.
Surviving are her son, Robert Jr. (Shunae); six grandchildren: Robert III, Tyra Craig, Patrick, Arial Craig, Manisha and Noah; two great-grandchildren, Dominic and Declan Craig; three brothers: Patric, Robert and Mark Luke; four sisters: Debbie Deyarmin, Peggy Farrell, Ella Kobel and Cristie Richardson; two aunts, Rose Potter and Barbara Capute; and many nieces and nephews. Jo is also survived by her best friend, Roberta Hillard; and her two dogs, Cinnamon and Molly. She was preceded in death by her brother, Paul H. Luke; and her grandson, Russell Dennis.
Jo was a 1972 graduate of Altoona Area High School and had worked at Valley View Home and Maybrook Hills.
She was a member of the Newburg Vol. Fire Co. Auxiliary and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Blair County and enjoyed singing karaoke.
