Janet L. (Forney) Burley, 75, Altoona, went home to her Lord and Savior on Monday in Altoona. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Janet was born in Altoona, the daughter of Ruth M. (Harbula) Forney and the late Paul R. Forney.
Surviving are her husband, Charles Burley III "Pudge"; a brother, Paul (Debbie) in Florida; two sons, Brian in North Carolina and Jarret (Kim) of Altoona; daughter, Kimberly Zeigler (Greg) of Altoona; her two-year-old Boxer, Lola; eight grandchildren: Reagan, Olivia, Shawn, Megan, Kaitlin, Zachary, Alyssa and Brayden; and four great-grandchildren: Nolan, Myla, Charlotte and Carson.
Janet was a blessing to her loved ones and the community she served as a real estate professional for 38 years.
Friends will be received from 4 until the 7 p.m. funeral service Friday, May 30, 2025, at Myers-Somers Funeral Home Inc., 501 Sixth Ave., Altoona.
In memory of Janet, let us hold fast to having an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ, trusting him in everything and praying daily with praise and thanksgiving. Let the Holy Spirit open all eyes to spiritual truth.
