Francis D. Barney

Surviving are his wife of 63 years, Claire (Pielmeier); a daughter, Beverly Harris, and husband, Gregg, of Altoona; a son, Frank Barney, and wife, Patricia, of Hamilton, Ohio; four grandchildren: William Harris (Keri), Jessica Benson (Brett) and Erica and Brooke Barney.

Frank served in the USMC and retired from McAleer’s Plumbing & Heating after 38 years as a plumber.

He was a member of Saint Mary’s Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church.

Frank enjoyed hunting and farming with his brother-in-law, Daniel Pielmeier for over 50 years.

At the family’s request, there will be no public services.
