Anne L. "Laurie" (Detwiler) Petit-Clerc, 81, of Lakemont, died peacefully in her home early Monday morning. She was born in Altoona, a daughter of the late Calvin Marion and Sara M. (Jodon) Detwiler.
She is survived by her two daughters, Alisa A. Rife and Michelle L. Singer; and a stepson, Robert Petit-Clerc; two granddaughters, Ash Zierke and Katelyn Barnes; three great-granddaughters: Ziva Craig, Alana Barnes and Synin Zierke; and a brother, Daniel Detwiler.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Ira S. Diehl and L.J. Petit-Clerc; her grandson, Levi Barnes; and a brother, Calvin M. Detwiler.
Anne was the secretary at Modern Cabinet Co. where she worked with her brothers and father for many years.
She was an avid outdoors woman who enjoyed fishing and hunting and especially camping with her friends and family. She was a member of the Lakemont Church of God, National Wildlife Federation Nature Conservancy, the National Rifle Association and the National Arbor Day Foundation.
According to her wishes, there will be no viewing or funeral service.
