Alice E. Hopkins, 77, Cresson, peacefully passed away Monday at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown. She was born in Johnstown, daughter of the late Andrew and Eileen (Bolvin) Chuckalovchak.
She was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 35 years, Lynn; a son, Jeffery; and brother, Joseph Chuckalovchak.
Surviving are daughters, Gail (Bruce) Mulhern of Cresson and Jill Salomie of Johnstown; grandchildren: Keisha Lantzy of Ebensburg, Brianna Karlheim of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Zacharie Salomie of Johnstown; great-grandson, Wyatt Karlheim; and siblings, Helen Ritchey of Cresson and Richard Chuckalovchak in Ohio.
Alice was of the Catholic faith.
She worked for BiLo in Altoona in the deli department.
Alice was a lifetime member of the Bavarian Aid Society, Altoona, and the Cresson American Legion Auxiliary.
She enjoyed fishing, sewing and gardening. Alice was also an avid Steelers fan.
Family and friends will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. today, Thursday, May 29, 2025, at Anderson Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 233 Keystone Ave., Cresson.
Services will be held privately with Father Leo Arnone, celebrant. Burial at Cresson Union Cemetery, Cresson.
