Walter Lee McMullen Sr.

Walter Lee McMullen Sr., 76, of Tyrone, died Tuesday at his residence. He was born in Tyrone, a son of the late James W. and Dorothy (Iddings) McMullen.
On April 3, 1971, he married Candy Dixson.
In addition to his wife, Walter is survived by a daughter, Crystal Wenn (Jonathan) of Columbia Station, Ohio; a son, Walter Lee McMullen Jr. of Tyrone; four grandchildren: Meghan McMullen, Cassidy Grant, Izaac Wenn and Levi Wenn; a brother, Joseph McMullen of Tipton; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his siblings: James W. Jr., Stella M. Friley, Gerald L. Heaton, Dallas Heaton and Faye L. Neff.
Walter was a 1967 graduate of Tyrone High School, and had worked at Proctor Silex. He retired from DeGol Construction Truss Plant after many years of service.
He always enjoyed hunting and time spent with his grandchildren.
There will be no viewing or services. Burial will take place at Blair Memorial Park.
