Nancy Jean Stiles, 93, of Cresson, passed away Saturday at Hilltop Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Altoona.
She was born in Cresson, daughter of the late Norman P. and Theresa C. (Wyland) Casher.
Surviving are her children: Russell (Patricia) Stiles Jr., Theresa Benzie, David Stiles, Rebecca Stiles and Peggy (Dan) Gaida; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell A. Stiles Sr.; daughters: Carol, Susan, Mary and Margaret; brothers, Charles and Francis; sisters: LaRue, Marie, Bernice, Dorothy and Anna Mae; and a grandson, Louis Jr. Nancy was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Family and friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at Anderson Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Cresson. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at St. Francis Xavier Church, 211 Powell Ave., Cresson, the Rev. Leo Arnone,
celebrant. Committal will be at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Cresson.
