Marilyn L. Heverly, 82, passed away Sunday at Family Hospice in Pittsburgh.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Jesse Onkst; husband, William T. Heverly; older brother, Walter Onkst; sister-in-law, Illean Onkst; and younger sister and best friend, Victoria Onkst.
She is survived by her son, Billy Heverly; her younger brother, Ed (Beth) Onkst; and several nephews, nieces and family that love her deeply.
Marilyn graduated from Hollidaysburg High School in 1960 and dedicated 13 years of her career to the Ramada Hotel, Altoona, before retiring in 2013.
She enjoyed bingo, playing cards and dining out with friends. Marilyn cherished the time spent with her family and her golden retriever, Max.
At Marilyn's request, there will be no public service.
She requested that donations made in her name be sent to Central Pennsylvania Humane Society, 1837 E. Pleasant Valley Blvd., Altoona, PA 16602.
Always loved and never forgotten. Until we meet again.
