Linda M. McGeary, 75, of Altoona, died unexpectedly Friday at her home. She was born in Covington, Ky., a daughter of the late William and Violet (Smith)
Ravenscraft.
On Feb. 17, 2000, she married Wayne H. McGeary, who preceded her in death on Aug. 25, 2024.
Surviving are her sons, Robert (Beth) Bishop of Orlando, Fla., and Shawn Bishop of Lilly; a grandson, Jakob Bishop; two stepchildren, Joe and Wendy McGeary, both of Altoona; step-grandchildren: Kali, Donnie and Christopher; a step-great-granddaughter, Cora Lynn; and her sister, Nancy Adkins in
Minnesota.
She was preceded in death by stepson, Wayne McGeary Jr.; and nephew, Allan B. "Skip" Calhoun.
Linda retired as a courier and enjoyed shopping.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 11, 2025, at Jon C. Russin Funeral Home Inc., Bellwood.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 12, 2025, at the funeral home, with Pastor Randy Zitterbart officiating. Interment will be at Logan
Valley Cemetery, Bellwood.
