John Hanlin, 75, of Hermitage, passed away the morning of March 26, 2025, at the Avalon Nursing Home in New Castle, Pa. John was born in Altoona to James J. and Anastasia (Arseniu) Hanlin.
John was an English professor at Tufts University for many years.
He is survived by his brother, Terry Hanlin, in Georgia.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his brother, Kevin Hanlin.
In keeping with his wishes, there will be no services.
