Earl W. Thomas, 87, of Defiance, formerly of Hollidaysburg, died Tuesday. He was born in Wood, son of the late Earl and Roxie (Spencer) Thomas. Earl was preceded in death by his wife, Lorraine; a son, Timothy; a granddaughter, Jennifer Michael; and siblings, Gwenny and Savannah. Surviving are children, Penny Cole, Jody Cole and Daniel Thomas; his grandchildren; and siblings: Nelda, Elouise, Judy, Helen, Debbie, David, James and Thomas. At the request of the deceased, a Celebration of Life memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Stone Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., Woodbury.
