Dolores J. "Dolly" Wesner, 94, went home to be with the Lord late Saturday evening at Homewood at Martinsburg. She was born in Altoona, a daughter of the late John and Theresa (Luciano) Richardella.
She married Paul D. Wesner on April 7, 1953, in Altoona. He preceded her in death Sept. 19, 2008.
Surviving are three children: daughter, Paula J. Truby (Leo); daughter, Terry J. Jacobs; and son, J. Cristopher Wesner (Denise), all of Altoona; five grandchildren: Erica Jacobs, Lyndsie DeFiccio (Beau), Sarah Weyer (Shawn), Patrick Jacobs (fiancee, Madison Yolonsky) and Ashton Conrad (Chris); five great-grandchildren: Alexa, Abigail, Jude, Jordan and Claire; and a sister, Joan Kugler (Drew) of Enola.
Dolly was preceded in death by a sister, Esther Morgan.
Mrs. Wesner was a life member of Assembly of God Church.
She was a 1949 graduate of Altoona High School.
Dolly was formerly employed in the business office of Bon Secours-Holy Family Hospital, Altoona.
Her greatest joy was spending time with her entire family, but most especially with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be made at Alto-Reste Park. A public Celebration of Life will be held at a future time and date, to be determined.
Arrangements are by Myers-Somers Funeral Home Inc., 501 Sixth Ave., Altoona.
