Dallas Earl Eckert, 88, of Martinsburg, formerly of Tyrone, passed away April 26, 2025, at the Village at Morrisons Cove. He was born on April 28, 1936, in Altoona, son of the late Earl Kenneth and Thelma Ruth (Hildebrand) Eckert. On Jan. 3, 1961, in Altoona, he married Loreda L. Longenecker, who survives. Also surviving are his niece, Kendra Napolitan; and great-nephew, Joshua Longenecker. Friends will be received Thursday, May 1, 2025, from 10 a.m. until the noon funeral service at Woodbury Church of the Brethren. Arrangements are by Stone Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., Woodbury.
