Carole Lee Kephart, 86, Houtzdale, passed away Tuesday. She was born in Brisbin, a daughter of the late Andrew and Elverta (Lobb) Evans. Carole was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas; and sisters: Delores Washell, Jeannie Rhymestine and Florence Carrell. Surviving is a son, Michael; several grandchildren; and sisters, Joyce Wilson and Dessie Rowlands. Carole loved being outdoors, riding motorcycles and was dedicated to rescuing animals. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until the 1 p.m. service Monday, April 14, 2025, at Birger A. Freeberg Funeral Home Inc., Houtzdale.
