Carole A. Zonfrilli, 86, of Altoona, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday at UPMC Altoona. Carole was born in Pittsburgh, to the late Ferdinand and Rita Mae (O' Conner) Tomasits.
In addition to her parents, Carole is preceded in death by her children, Lynn K. Strong and Michael K. Reltz; and a brother, Kenneth J. Tomasits.
Carole is survived by the love of her life, Donald A. Zonfrilli, whom she married on May 10, 1985, in Altoona; her children, Nicole Wilt of Altoona and Jamie Zonfrilli; her grandchildren: Mikayla, Michael, Mary, Alex, Kelsey and Tanner; and her great-grandchildren: Aiden, Jackson and Meredith.
Carole was Catholic by faith and was a member at St. Rose of Lima Church in Altoona. Carole dedicated herself to helping others with a career in the medical field, and in her free time, really enjoyed reading and gardening.
Friends will be received at the 10 a.m. funeral Mass on Friday, April 4, 2025, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 5519 Sixth Ave., Altoona. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be donated in Carole's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
