Beverly Ann Long, 85, of Brookville, passed away peacefully Sunday at Laurelbrooke Personal Care Home in Brookville. She was born in Bellwood, daughter of the late Melvin and Mildred (Roub) Estep.
Beverly loved to sew. She especially enjoyed making dresses and clothing for her nieces and granddaughters. She was an active member of "Seamstresses without Borders," making uniforms for schools in Ethiopia.
Beverly was a member of Asbury Global Methodist Church. She sang in the choir and served on the church board.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Long of Brookville; daughter, Lisa (John) Brown of Hopwood, Pa.; stepdaughters: Laura Bellew of Pittsburgh, Julie (Marc) LeDuc in Florida and Jennifer (John) Hardy of Erie; brothers, Barry Estep of Walden, N.Y., and Melvin (Diane) Estep Jr. of Bellwood; and sister, Barbara (John) Rupert of Altoona. In addition, Beverly is survived by nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be private.
Arrangements are by Goble Funeral Home, Clarion.
