Barbara A. "Bobbie" Farran, 93, passed away peacefully at her home in Hollidaysburg on Sunday, April 20, 2025. She was born in New Haven, Conn., daughter of the late Fred and Ruth Pare.
In 1951, she married James Renshaw, who died in 1978. She then married Charles Farran in 1981 and he died in 2012.
Surviving are a son, Mike Renshaw (Barbara); daughters: Patty Sheetz, Susan Schwaderer (George) and Cathy Gahagan. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Mower.
Bobbie was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Hollidaysburg.
She loved the beach, watching the Steelers and PGA Golf, but what Bobbie loved most was her family and close friends.
Family and friends will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 25, 2025, at The Good Funeral Home Inc., 108 Alto-Reste Park, Altoona. A private funeral service for the family will be held on Saturday. Interment will be at Alto-Reste Park, Altoona.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Bobbie to Mending Hearts Animal Rescue, P.O. Box 97, Hollidaysburg, PA 16648.
