Violet L. Pfahler, 65, of Antis Township, died unexpectedly at her home early Wednesday morning. She was born in Altoona, a daughter of the late Harold F. "Bones" and Mary Anna "Peanie" (Hornberger) Brower.
On Aug. 14, 1983, she married Randy B. Pfahler at Riggles Gap Bible Church.
Surviving are her husband; two children, Randy B. II "Bubba" and Christine M. (Tyler) Strange; three grandchildren: Cole, Oliver and Avery; and her three siblings: Ronald E. Brower, Donna K. Brandt and Barbara J. Brower.
She was preceded in death by her twin sister, Viola L. McCahan.
Violet was a 1978 graduate of Bellwood-Antis High School and a member of Hillside Community Church, Bellwood.
She enjoyed watching Hallmark movies and loved gambling, playing slot machines and scratch-off tickets.
Violet's greatest joy was spending time with family, especially her three grandchildren and her best friend, Bonnie.
Friends will be received from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday, March 30, 2025, at Jon C. Russin Funeral Home Inc., Bellwood. A funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with Pastor John Poe officiating. Interment will be at Logan Valley Cemetery, Bellwood.
