Shirley M. Runk, 95, passed away peacefully Friday at Garvey Manor Nursing Home, Hollidaysburg. She was the daughter of the late Irene White and Harry Reese.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Merrill Sr.; her son, Merrill Jr.; and granddaughters, Jayme and Jesse.
She is survived by her daughter, Sharon L. Heinbaugh; and son, Jeffry A. Runk, and his wife, Stacy. Also surviving are daughter-in-law, Eileen; eight granddaughters: Amanda "Mandy" and Kristin Heinbaugh, Melissa, Christine, Stephanie, Theresa, Liz and Cammie; step-grandsons, Coady and Garrett; numerous great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren.
Special thank you to Evie Bailor, her lifelong friend; and Garvey Manor for their kind and compassionate care.
Shirley enjoyed eating out with friends and family, traveling and her cat, Maggie.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no services. Interment will be held at Blair Memorial Park.
