Ruth E. Biter, 83, Loretto died Sunday. She was born in Johnstown, daughter of Carl and Gertrude (Litzinger) Grove. Surviving are her children: John, Ray, Anita, Joe and Mike; many grandchildren; and siblings: John, Elmer, Charles, Ann, Kate, Donald and Dean. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; and sisters, Helen and Zelda. The viewing will be private. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 5, 2025, at The Basilica of St. Michael Catholic Church, Loretto. Arrangements are by Gibbons Funeral Home, 301 Church St., Gallitzin.
