Rick E. Aungst, 65, of Hollidaysburg, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Roaring Spring, the son of Ruth (Pearson) Aungst and the late Richard Aungst.
He married Karen L. Olivieri on Dec. 1, 1979.
He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Reanna Aungst of Hollidaysburg; two sisters, Ronda Walter and husband, Wayne, of Duncansville and Renee Rhodes and husband, Roy, of Martinsburg; and many nieces and nephews.
As a child, Rick attended Leamersville Church of the Brethren.
He was a 1977 graduate of Hollidaysburg Area Senior High School and retired from Champion Home Builders in Claysburg.
Rick enjoyed fishing, hunting, carpentry and especially loved spending time with his family.
Services will be held by Pastors Stephen and Marilyn Durr at the convenience of the family.
Interment will be made at Salem Reformed Cemetery.
