Richard H. Henchey

In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his sisters, Doris Buchanan and Donna Murtif.

He is survived by his loving wife, Rita; sons, Richard “Rick” Harry Henchey II (Nathalie) of Hurricane, W.Va., and

Russell Scott Henchey (Jennifer) of Rio Grande, Ohio; grandchildren: Alexandrine and Olivier Ratnani, Kenneth Andrew and Elizabeth Dyer; four great-grandchildren; brothers, Thomas Henchey (Nancy) of York, and William Henchey (Karen) of Altoona; several nieces and nephews; and special lifetime friends, Paul “Herk” and Mary Yingling.

Friends will be received from 1 until the 2 p.m. Celebration of Life on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at St. John United Methodist Church, 4536 Teays Valley Road, Scott Depot, W.Va., with the Rev. Teresa Markins officiating.
