Richard A. Miller, 76, of Altoona, died early Saturday morning, Feb. 22, 2025, at Haida Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center, Hastings. He was born in Altoona, a son of the late Thomas L. and Mary A. (Williams) Miller.
Surviving are six nephews: Robert, Shawn, Pat, Jerry, Steve and John; and four nieces: Helen, Mary Lee, Amy and Becky; a brother-in-law, Gerald Clowson; and numerous extended family members and friends.
Richard was preceded in death by three sisters: Zada (Miller) McCauley, Virginia (Miller) Stitt and Barbara (Miller) Clowson; a niece, Sharon "Missy" Schumacher; and a nephew, Bruce McCauley.
Mr. Miller attended Second Avenue Global Methodist Church, Altoona.
He was a 1966 graduate of Altoona Area High School.
Richard enjoyed watching WWE wrestling, playing bingo, listening to country music and talking on the CB radio, where his handle was "Tomcat."
At Richard's request, there will be no viewing or funeral service. Interment was made at Blair Memorial Park, Bellwood.
