Raymond Claude Burget

Raymond Claude Burget, 87, formerly of Martinsburg, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday at Midtown Oaks Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born in Roaring Spring, son of the late David Blair and Florence O. (Walker) Burget.
He married Ramona Kay “Monie” Smith on Nov. 30, 1958, and she died June 10, 2019.
He is survived by three children: Duane C. Burget and wife, Missi, of Altoona; Danny C. Burget and wife, Sylvia, of Martinsburg; and Linda K. Allison and husband, Mark, of Williamsburg; a daughter-in-law, Lynn Burget in Florida; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a brother, Myron Irvin Burget and wife, Jo Jo, of Hollidaysburg.
He was preceded in death by a son, David C. Burget; and a grandson, Nathaniel Lee Burget.
Raymond retired from Weis Market after 30 years of service.
Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 28, 2025, and from 9:30 until the 11 a.m. funeral service Saturday, March 29, 2025, at Albright Church of the Brethren, Roaring Spring, with Pastor Tom Smith officiating.
Arrangements are by the Todd T. Thompson Funeral Home Inc., Roaring Spring.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Raymond’s memory may be given to The Gideons International.
