Perry Curtis Messner, 70, went home to the Lord on Monday, March 3, 2025, in Cape Canaveral, Fla. Perry was a native of Altoona, and a graduate of Altoona Area High School and the University of Montevallo.
Perry's passions were watching rocket launches, cruising several times a year and golf.
He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Jill Messner Davis; and his son, Jonathan Curtis Messner; and their mother, Debra. He also cherished his grandchildren: Nicolas, Elizabeth and Trever, Noah, Savannah and Madison. Perry is also survived by his siblings: Corky, Bruce and Bonnie.
Perry retired from Bridgestone Firestone as a managing partner.
He made many friends throughout his life and had a heart as big as gold. Think of Perry when you see sunrises and sunsets.
